In pursuance of their separate state dream,Telangana Congress leaders have sought appointment with all the senior Congress leaders in Delhi including Ghulam Nabi Azad,Digvijay Singh and Home Min Sushil Kumar Shinde.T-Congress MPs and state ministers on Monday had a long meeting with Union minister S Jaipal Reddy.More leaders are expected to join them on Tuesday. The leaders who met Jaipal Reddy included MPs Ponnam Prabhakar,Manda Jagannadham,Madhu Yashki Goud and ministers D Sridhar Babu B Saraiah,DK Aruna and Sunitha Lakshma Reddy.According to sources,Jaipal Reddy assured the T-leaders that the Centre has already taken a decision to bifurcate the state and that it was unlikely to go back on it.
Back in Hyderabad,many Telangana Congress legislators met at the Congress Legislature Party office and decided to visit Delhi on Tuesday to join their party MPs from the region.Government whip Arepalli Mohan told the media that the Congress leadership appeared inclined to take a favorable decision on Telangana and it that it is just a matter of days before the decision is announced.
Meanwhile,Panyam (Kurnool district) Congress MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy announced that he would quit the party if the state is divided.
