Hyderabad: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao has threatened another fast-unto-death for Telangana in the third week of January 2011.If the UPA at the centre does not announce any decision on Telangana by January 15,his fast would begin a week after. This was the decision said to have been arrived at a meeting of the TRS senior leaders and Telangana JAC here on Wednesday."The fast could be launched in New Delhi.However,the venue will be finalised in the first week of January,"a TRS leader said.
Before leaving for Mahabubnagar,KCR told party leaders to make arrangements to intensify the movement after he sit on a dharna,party sources said. KCR reiterated his decision to undertake fast at the Mahabubnagar gathering."I will take up the diksha again in January demanding the creation of Telangana.And my slogan this time would be "KCR Chachudo,Telangana Vachudo" (either KCR will die or the T state formed),"he said.According to party sources,KCR took the decision of taking up fast again following indications from Delhi over the possibility of midterm general elections.
"If the polls happen,KCR can emerge as a king-maker at least as far as AP is concerned.Hence,the decision to whip up the T sentiment,"hinted party sources.
