Warangal TRS MLA booked- Vinaya Bhaskar Tried To Barge Into AP Day Fete Venue

Warangal/Karimnagar: High drama ensued as over 3,000 TRS activists and followers of Warangal (West) MLA Vinaya Bhaskar resisted cops from arresting him at his residence at Vaddepalli near the collectorate in the late hours of Tuesday.
They shouted jai Telangana slogans and refused to allow cops from taking away Bhaskar,who was booked for obstructing AP Formation Day celebrations earlier in the day.A case was registered against the MLA under sections 153,447 and 422 of IPC.Nearly 1,500 cops have been deplyed at the MLA's residence to prevent any untoward incident.Amidst the heightened tension,the followers of the MLA kept raising slogans against the government and cops.Sources said the cops would pick up the MLA and later release him on bail.
Earlier in the day,Vinaya Bhaskar tried to storm Kakatiya Degree College grounds,the venue of the celebrations.Upon seeing the MLA making his way into the venue,cops stopped him at the main entrance.Both the cops and the MLA had heated arguments.Soon,the MLA tried to gatecrash into the college,but the police dragged him by his collar and pushed him.He fell down in the melee.

He received minor injuries on his back and chest.When local leaders questioned the cops as to why they were stopping the MLA from taking part in the celebrations,they said they had orders from the top.Later,the MLA was admitted to a private hospital.TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao called up the MLA and enquired about his health. Meanwhile,in Jagtial,police resorted to lathicharge when hundreds of students tried to unfurl a black flag at the RDOs office,in protest against the formation day celebrations.The employees boycotted the celebrations and hoisted a black flag at the Kaman centre.
Rallies,half-naked processions,dharnas and rasta rokos marked the day at several places in the region.Advocates tried to hoist a black flag at the Mahbubabad Subcourt. However, police foiled their attempt.TRS MLA K Taraka Ramarao unfurled a black flag at Sircilla and flayed chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu for their double standards on the Telangana issue.
