Congress MPs,including RS member K Keshava Rao,held a dharna in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue for 20 minutes demanding that a bill to create Telangana be introduced in this Session itself.The MPs said that this protest would be held everyday both inside and outside the House.We have indications that some action is expected soon.Till then,we will continue with our protest.If there is no decision,we will not hesitate to stall the house, Jagannatham said.TRS president and Mahbubnagar MP K Chandrasekhar Rao,meanwhile,has given a notice for an adjournment motion on Telangana.The speaker is expected to announce her decision on the notice on Wednesday.

New Delhi: On the first day of the winter session,Congress MPs from AP joined the TRS,and BSP MPs from UP,seeking division of their respective states. The eight Congress MPs from AP M Jagannadham, Madhu Yaskhi Goud,G Sukhender Reddy,P Prabhakar,S Rajaiah,T Balaram Naik and Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy began sloganeering as soon as the Lok Sabha proceedings commenced after speaker Meira Kumar completed the obituary references.Even before the din by the Congress MPs could subside,several BSP and SP MPs from UP began shouting,seeking a debate on the UP Assembly resolution recommending splitting the state into four.There was total pandemonium after the CPM too joined the shouting match to demand a debate on price rise.The House was first adjourned till noon and then for the whole day after the same members continued the ruckus.
