The Joint Action Committee of the Telangana Advocates Associations on Monday began an indefinite fast in front of the advocate generals office on the AP High Court demanding their due share in government pleader posts. S Satyam Reddy,former president of the HC Bar Association,Jyothi Kiran and Vijay Kumar Goud began the fast demanding 42 per cent of quota in the appointments of HC law officers.The agitators prevented AG D V Seetharam Murthy from entering into his office by squatting in front of the door of his chambers and demanding his resignation.Though the AG tried to tell the agitators that he would represent their grievance to the government,the advocates were not convinced and continued their protest.
