The Srikrishna Committee, appointed by Centre to examine the separate Telangana state issue, would make a three-day visit to the state capital from May 24 to hold consultations with various groups. The committee would hold meetings with Telangana non-governmental organisations, Andhra Joint Action Committee, Dalit Christian Forum, Samaikya Andhra Samithi among various other associations from May 24 to 26, committees nodal officer Rajiv Sharma said in a release here today. The committee has undertaken several visits to Andhra Pradesh capital over the last one month during which it had meetings with Telugu Desam Party, Prajarajyam Party, CPI, CPI (m) and MIM party representatives. Congress leaders, however, have not met the committee members so far. The committee aims to conclude the process of consultations by next month before undertaking field visits across the state.
