Differences have cropped up between TRS and Telangana JAC over the plan to protest Congress MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddys Odarpu yatra in Mahbubabad in Warangal district. While JAC leaders have decided to obstruct the yatra on May 28, TRS high command instructed party cadre not to participate in the JAC agitational programme. TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, who held a meeting with party leaders on Friday, discussed the issue and directed them to keep away from JACs agitation. The reason for this stand, according to party leaders, was that Jagan was taking up the yatra in memory of his father and late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy who was killed in a chopper crash on September 2 last year. His yatra has nothing to do with the Telangana issue, KCR reportedly told his partymen. Meanwhile, JAC chairman M Kodandaram after a meeting with student JAC leaders, said they would organise a maha rally by involving students and JAC workers from the 10 Telangana districts at Mahbubabad on the same day of Odarpu yatra and there was no question of going back on its decision to obstruct Jagans yatra. The action plan will be finalised at a meeting at Kakatiya University in Warangal on May 24. Asked about TRS decision to keep away,Kodandaram said he had no such information.
