Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday demanded that Centre spell out its stand on contentious issue of Telangana state in the backdrop of Srikrishna Committee chairman Justice B N Srikrishna's statement that T issue was in hands of the Parliament. Reacting to Union home minister P Chidambaram's remarks that Telangana issue had to be resolved by the state government and the Centre had nothing to do with it, Venkaiah Naidu pointed out that Justice Srikrishna on Friday made it clear that the central government will have to take a view on the matter and that they were in the city to feel the pulse of the people. "Let Centre react on the issue when an eminent person of judiciary clearly said that T issue was in its hands," he said. Naidu also alleged that the Centre was not sincere on the T issue. "We have to wait till 2014 to get a solution,"he added. Referring to political developments in Jharkhand, he said that the party's parliamentary board will hold a meeting to elect a chief minister on Monday. "There will be no rotation of the post of CM between BJP and JMM, "he said." The JMM had accepted the proposal that BJP would rule the state during the next four years and give a stable government," he added.
