The TRS has decided to change its strategy and work out an action plan to put pressure on Congress MPs that will force the Centre to introduce a Bill for bifurcation of the state in the budget session of Parliament. If necessary TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao proposes to resign from the Lok Sabha and take up a fast-unto-death once again after February.A senior TRS leader told TOI on Sunday that the party,at a meeting held at KCRs house, has decided to intensify the movement from February just before the budget session of Parliament. As of now,the party will gherao the houses of Congress MPs both in the state and in New Delhi and ask them to give a written assurance that they will resign from Parliament if the Centre does not introduce a Bill for carving a separate state in the budget session. If they refuse to commit in writing, they will stand exposed in the eyes of the people about their sincerity on the issue, Rao felt.Even in the past Congress leaders promised to resign but backtracked later, he said. The time has come to prove their sincerity by sacrificing the posts, KCR said.Meanwhile,TRS called on all T people to stage dharna, organised by JAC at all district collectorates on Monday demanding the Centre to introduce T-bill in Parliament,a success.
