To counter Prajapatham programme launched by State Govt to solve local problems, TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao will launch Pallebata (village tour) to highlight the civic problems faced by people in Telangana districts from April 30. Chief minister K Rosaiah launched the month-long Prajapatham programme on Monday in Prakasam district and asked all ministers and MLAs to participate in the programme to redress local problems. The week-long Pallebata will be launched from Mahbubnagar.
TRS sources told TOI that KCR will cover all 10 assembly constituencies where bypolls are scheduled to be held before August.By-elections were necessitated after 10 TRS MLAs resigned in protest against the constitution of Srikrishna committee. Sources said that KCR will tour the villages and stay there during nights. This time KCR will raise local issues like drinking water problem, power crisis, lack of irrigation and health issues during his tour. KCR wanted to highlight civic problems being faced by Telangana people and bring the issues to the notice of local authorities. Party sources said, that besides raising local issues, KCR will use tour to campaign for the byelections in 10 assembly constituencies. The sources said TRS will organise party Foundation Day celebrations on April 27 in the city.
