Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday told the Rajya Sabha that there was a need for consensus on Telangana.On BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidus remark that three states were formed during the NDA regime without any hassle,Singh said there was no difference of opinion among stakeholders of the three states,which was not the case with Telangana.Singh said that in light of subsequent developments,the government felt further consultation was needed and the Srikrishna committee was constituted.TNN
