A practising advocate filed a private petition in the Rangareddy court at LB Nagar alleging that chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and former DGP V Dinesh Reddy conspired to spread disinformation that Naxal movement will strengthen if Telangana is carved out. T- Junior Advocates Association president N Naresh Kumar,in his petition, said Kiran Kumar Reddy tried to force Dinesh Reddy to give false statement and as such they are liable for commission of offence''.
He also alleged that both Dinesh Reddy and Kiran Kumar Reddy, despite being public servants, had willfully made ommissions and commissions to benefit Santosh Reddy, brother of the CM. The petition also alleged that Dinesh Reddy hid the designs of Kiran Kumar Reddy while he was in service, amounting to substantial loss to the public. The allegations in the petition were based on Dinesh Reddy's press conference on Tuesday.
The complainant requested the court to take cognizance of the petition and book Dinesh Reddy, Kiran Kumar Reddy and Santosh Reddy under sections 120-B (Conspiracy ),119 (Public servant concealing design to commit offence which it is his duty to prevent ),166 (Public servant disobeying law, with intent to cause injury to any person ),168 (Public servant unlawfully engaging in trade) and 181 (False statement on oath or affirmation to public servant or person authorized to administer an oath or affirmation ) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).`The court took cognizance of my petition and recorded my statement.The court posted the next hearing of the case to October 15, Naresh said.
