Andhra Pradesh CM Reddy in Delhi for Telangana talks

 

 

 Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayana reached Delhi Monday for consultations with top leadership of the Congress party over Telangana issue. The two leaders reached the national capital by an early morning flight. The party leadership had summoned them for consultations before taking a decision on the vexatious issue.  They are likely to meet Congress general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is also in charge of party affairs in the state, and other central leaders.

Besides Telangana, the latest political developments in the state and issues related to the party and the government may also come up for discussion.  After an all-party meeting on Telangana Dec 28, Union home minister Sushil kumar Shinde had declared that a decision on Telangana would be announced within a month. However, a day before the month's deadline ended, both Shinde and Azad said some more time was required for consultations.

Azad had said the party would have consultations with the chief minister, state party chief and leaders of all three regions - Telangana, Andhra and Rayalaseema.  Protesting the delay in taking the decision, seven Congress MPs from Telangana last week sent their resignations both from the Parliament and the party to party president Sonia Gandhi.

Anand: This clearly shows how this government is thoroughly messed-up and lack of leadership in taking decisions. When they already had all party meetings very recently in Delhi after all those commisssions, committees, all party meetings, what's more to talk about now? If they really had to discuss with CM and state party president, why they didn't that before they sent their representatives to all party meetings. This government is neither have any plans nor have guts to take any decisions, instead buying time without taking any decisons.

jUFFAIR:There is nothing in reality called "consultations" in the congress . It is a 1 family rule and only the dik tats of the Sonia Gandhi family. Let Visag become a better capital than Hyd.

K SUBHASH: yeahh...u keep going to Delhi...We dont mind it... but dont go on public money...U go there on ur party money or on ur own money...Instead of eacn and every MLA and Mo gng thr,why dont u call miss madam to our state and ask her to stay here..I think u r the only people who go to Delhi every week to meet her...

VISWADUTTA: These are wasting public money in travelling to Delhi to catch Madam feet so that they can continue to be in power when AP is burning. Congress, with any thinking, has tied up with TRS and promised Telengana in 2004 for the sake of getting in to Power. YSR and Sonia are the real culprits. This Lagadapati and other jokers in congress has praised Sonia and YSR that time for getting all these jokers elected as MPs. They blamed Chandrababu for not giving Telengana as he was only obstacle for it. When Chandrababu said TDP wont oppose Telengana these Congress idiots are balming Chandrababu for dividing AP state. Congress wants to play with the sentiment of people of both Seemadhra and telegana people and do not want to solve this issue. They do not have a firm stand before promising. When they do not want to solve why they have promised in 2004 and made it a monster issue by stoking the fire for so long. Congress is worst party which does not care for people but their power only. It plays with people deviding them in various regions, religious groups (Hindus, Muslims ) , SC/ST and backwards and use them for getting into power. It is also most corrupt party India has. God save India.

DINESH: Why Andhra people could not live with Tamilians back in 1950s? Are they special? Govt. must not have allowed it to merge with Telangana then? The current agitation would not have taken place at all
